I am a designer working with a programmer. I have designed a page for
search results. This template is 2 columns large. But the user has the
possibilities to change the number of displayed results with a input
field and button.
A "visual" problem emerge when we put an odd number... The last row of
results has only 1 result. This visually creates a hole in the layout
since my table has CSS borders... It's just like when you create an
HTML table with 2 column and 3 row and you forget the last <td></td>
tag in the last row. It renders a table with a missing cell...
Here is my question :
Can we have an "empty or default cell" generated by the datalist in
case the user specify an odd number of results?
This is a graphic designer view of the problem... If you have an
anwser, tell me what i should say to my programmer so he can anwser my
needs.
Thanks a lot!
