I am running XP PRO Version 2002 SP2 on my laptop. I am using the Web
Matrix Project version 1.1.4322.573 and I am trying to access the
Microsoft SQL server (MSDE) on my machine. Specifcally using the
DataGrid Web Control and the Select Data Method Code Builder
I get the following message:
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web
browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this
specific request failure can be found in the application event log of
the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused
this error to occur.
The error code for the failure is 80004005. This error can be caused
when the worker process account has insufficient rights to read the
..NET Framework files. Please ensure that the .NET Framework is
correctly installed and that the ACLs on the installation directory
allow access to the configured account.
I have searched the Internet and found various solutions but I am not
sure that I have hit upon the correct on for my specific configuration.
Can anyone suggest a link or a solution to my problem.
