    ASP.NET

    Hi

I have a custom datagrid enabled through inherting from datagrid

I want to allow selection to change the back color, and therefore when one row is selected I need to unselect another row

I have an event handler in the selectedindex changed.

So I thought, OK it the Item_created put an id on the control, store that when its first selected then to unselect findcontrol, and take off its back color.

Thing is everytime I set the id in the itemcreated event then the _dopostback function doesnt work

Anyone know a way around or a better way

    Thanks
