about SAX parsing

Hello ,

I was wondering about weather SAX parsers support dealing with ID and
IDREF's as they dont traverse through the whole document. so how is
this handled ?
I encountered this in wikipedia , but the explanation of that part is
very unclear ...

I was wondering about weather SAX parsers support dealing with ID and
IDREF's

If they're validating against a DTD, they can identify ID/IDREF
attributes as those pass through. Associating the latter with the former
is your application's responsibility.
