I'm brand new to Win32:OLE, which I'm using to grab data out of
existing MS Word documents. Using examples I've found on the net I've
been able to write perl that extacts text I'm looking for based on its
"style" (Heading, TOC, etc.). However, I can't find any good examples
of how to acess Word "fields" like title, author, savedate, etc., as
well as the slightly more complicated DOCVARIABLES.
I suspect that if I understood VB better (or at all), this would be an
easy problem. Anyone have any examples or pointers for how to do the
above?
