I'm using ADAM/AzMan and the AuthorizationStoreRoleProvider as outlined in
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnpag2/html/paght000018.asp
Doing "Roles.CreateRole" creates a Role Assignment (AzMan)/Role (ADAM), but
does not create a Role Definition (AzMan)/Task (ADAM). This would be fine,
since we could always create these through an outside source, but the
Assignment does not link to the Definition.
For example. I have two Role Definitions, Role1 and Role2. Role2 is a
sub-role of Role1. I add a Role Assignment Role1 using Roles.CreateRole.
Examining the properties, shows that the Role2 definition doesn't exist for
this entry. However, if you created the assignment through the mmc
azman.msc), then the definition is preserved.
What do I need to do to create this link?
Thanks.
