adding a new sub level to a menu script

The script is from dynamicdrive.com "switch menu".
The bare bones of "outlook bar" style menus.

What I am attempting to do is to add sublevels to the already existing ones.

Top Level Item
.....Level One
..........item one
..........item two
..........item three
.....Level Two
.........item one
.........item two
Top Level Item


So that when any one selection with lower levels is clicked, that grouped
items collapse back to the original state.

Top Level One
......Level One
......Level Two
...........item 1
...........item 2
Top Level Two


Top Level One
Top Level Two
........Level One
............item 1

And so on.

I thought that perhaps by adding a second "switchmenu" routine should allow
me to do this. Well, almost but not quite.

Anyone have any ideas on how to cure this problem easily?
Or how about a link to a working version that allows muti-level insertions.

I tried out a few of the "outlook bar" things and found they would not do
what I wanted without a lot of recoding.
As they say, KISS it. Keep it simple stupid.
