agents, what is worth ?

Hi,

I am looking for people that have been using (or developing) agents
technology to tell me what Java package or tool should be worth to consider
to build/use/deploy agents. I have found many packages, but it is difficult
to evaluate each one feature.

What I would need is a general purpose Java agent package.

Please let me know what is worth to consider.

Depends on which of the seven gazillions meanings of the word "agent"
you are referring to.

Depends on which of the seven gazillions meanings of the word "agent"
you are referring to.

I mean NOT internet agent but rather fin grained general purpose
blackboard like agents. I want AI agents (like Corewars, Alife, Expert
Systems...). Let me know. By the way, I can send my bookmarks on
"Agents with Java" which is quite exhaustive to whoever wants to. My
real trouble is What do people use and what they won't. I just want to
know about the major 3 best packages.
