ANN: e4 - a browser-side, multi-file, text editor for files on yourweb server

e4 is a text editor for editing files on your web server. It is
written in JavaScript (except for a small PHP program on the server)
and runs entirely on the client web browser.

e4 is useful for programmers and anyone else who needs to edit the
actual text of files on the server. e4 is a simple IDE which allows
simultaneous editing of multiple files, powerful searching, and
multiple view panes.

e4 can be used to make changes to your web site from a browser. It can
also be used to maintain any kind of text file when you need access to
it from a browser. e4 can be configured to allow access to any file on
the account the web server is running from. It need not be restricted
to the web-visible files. So you can also use e4 to read and write
files on your web hosting account.

I gave it a try. Its fast, but the user interface is utterly
confusing. Made no sense to me at all !
