We happily announce that OleDBPro has been ported to MS dotNet
platform at www.udaparts.com OleDBProNet is a highly reusable module for
developing high performance desktop and middle tier software on Microsoft
..NET platform version 2 using classical data accessing method through MS
OLEDB technology. With OleDBPro, you can get the following key features that
are not provided with ADO.NET.
a. Very simple: OleDBProNet is a very simple to use for all of simple
or complex SQL statements, BLOBs, parameterized statements, data type
conversions, and others.
b. Lots of features: OleDBProNet offers much more features than
ADO.NET. Many features are not available to ADO.NET.
c. Superior performance: OleDBProNet is written from C++/CLI using
the coming VC++.net 8. It significantly reduces COM interoperatability cost
between native and managed codes. Also internally it always fetches and
sends records in batch for the best performance.
d. Server cursors and client cursor: OleDBProNet fully supports all
of server cursors and client cursor. It supports all of rowset navigation
features (bookmark, record searching, index, scroll and jumping etc)
directly at server side through MS OLEDB technology. ADO.NET does not have
these critical features.
e. One interface for all of data sources: OleDBProNet is a complete
solution to all of data sources as long as you have an OLEDB provider, an
ODBC driver or ISAM driver available for a source.
f. Source code available: All of source codes are available to you!
g. Lots of samples: Fifteen samples are available currently for
demonstration of various features.
