Xtractor AS is launching Xtractor XDB version 4.0 - a native XML
database.
Xtractor's XML database - XDB is a mature, scalable and performing
native XML database. Xtractor XDB is the first native XML database
running on a relational back-end and has been proven to be 10 times
faster than the competing native XML databases (Bench mark data is
available)
The Xtractor XDB is used in high transactional environments and is the
first native XML database running in environments with hundreds of
millions of documents. Xtractor XDB is aligned with the standards in
the XML community and supports full XPath and XQuery. It is also SQL
92 compliant and can therefore run on top of any database supporting
this standard.
