Anonymous CVS access

Hello.

I can't make it past the first hurdle. What am I missing?

$ cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/src login
Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401/src
CVS password: (typed 'anonymous')
cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.ruby-lang.org(210.251.121.214):2401 failed: Connection refused
