Any suggestions for a good charts & graphs package?

    For charts there is Chart2D, Chart Construction Kit,
    JOpenChart, JFreeChart, MagPlot, and JCharts:

    For structured graphics: Piccolo and JGraph.

    For plots: Chart2D, Chart Construction Kit, and MagPlot.
