Applet / SOAP examples

I am trying to develop a JAVA application to keep track of customers,
sales, etc. I want to run this as an applet in a web browser. I want
the applet to be able to query a remote server via SOAP.
Communications will be queries to get data and updates to post data.
Again, all done using SOAP. Where can I find a working example of an
applet communicating to a remote server via SOAP?
