Hi
We have a vanilla j2ee application with say 1000 users. (windows
client, sparc tomcat)
We would like to offer the ability to select (cut) images from the
application
and paste into a word document.
I notice there are windows applications such as ACASystems Capture,
Snagit, webscreenshot, etopping, screenshotwizard that allow this.
However these tools are a bit intrusive ie the user is aware they are
using 3rd party software.
I would simply like to have button (unique to our web pages) that would
enable a "region screen select".
The user would click x1, y1 then x2, y2 thus selecting a region. This
region would automatically be in the clipboard ready for pasting into a
word document.
Is this possible via a java applet?
Regards
