Application domain unloaded after each page

Hi all,
I have a web application that I am trying to migrate to 2.0. I
used the new web application project type. I am running it on Winxp
with IIS 5.0. Everything compiles fine but when I run the web app, I
find that it is calling Application_OnStart, Session_OnStart for each
aspx before entering it and Application_OnEnd, Session_OnEnd when
leaving the page. The session id remains remain accross all the pages.
I have verified that
1. cookies are enabled on my browser.
2. Session timeout and Idle Timeouts have 20 mins.

I have tested with both Firefox and IE. The 1.1 version works
successfully. Any ideas or pointers why this is happening?
