ASP.NET Performance Counters

I'd like to monitor and get a baseline of some counters before we add more
consumers to our ASP.NET 3.5 IIS 6.0 server. Can anyone tell me the
difference between ASP.NET, ASP.NET Applications and ASP.NET v2.0.50727?
