What is the best method to invoke a WCF method from an asp.net web
page? (serverside). I create a wcf proxy class using the svcutil
program. In the page_load method of the website I create an instance
of this class. The I can access the wcf methods. Is this the prefered
way to do it? It seems like there is much overhead by creating an
instance of the proxy class for every page refresh.
I have also posted this message to
microsoft.public.windows.developer.winfx.indigo but there seems to be
very little activity there so I will try here.
