aspnet_wp.exe memory management?

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by Carlos Albert, Dec 29, 2005.

  1. Hi everybody,

I'm running a Win2000Server with .NET framework 2.0, and I wanted to tweak
the memory usage of aspnet_wp.exe because is using a huge amount of RAM and
    it doesn't recycle tough.

    Where can I change it?

Check out the processModel section of the machine.config

    c:\winnt\microsoft.net\framework\V2.0.50727\config\machine.config

you might wanna backup the file first.
