Hi,
we are currently evaluating the possibility of migrating a
webapplication based on the ATG dynamo server to open source products.
We currently favour
- JBoss / Tomcat application server
- Expresso webapplication framework
- Hibernate persistence framework
- jBpm workflow management system
Unfortunately, the current webapplication makes heavy use of ATG's
features, like szenarios, JHTML pages, droplets, targeters, XML & SQL
repositories etc. So we believe, that migration will be more like a
redesign of the whole application.
Does anyone have made experiences of migrating from ATG to any open
source product? It would be really helpful for us to have some
discussion about tips, tricks and traps of the migration.
Thank you and kind regards,
-Mo.
