Authentication problems due to site interaction...

Hi,

I have two different .NET web applications hosted on the same Server 2003
box; they are virtual directories under the Default Web Site. Both
applications use Forms Authentication. What happens is that when the user
logs into the first application, then logs into the second application, they
lose their authentication for the first application and must log in again.
If they do so, they lose their authentication in the second application.
Etc. Because some users frequently use both applications simultaneously (or
would like to), how can I keep this from happening?
