AutoStart SWF in a popup window

I have been doing this for years.

Create a graphic hyperlink that once it is clicked pops open a new
window with a Flash animation immediately playing within.

My window opens fine, but I get no Flash playing. I've checked all the
obvious possibilities.

Somebody help!?!
