base target inside file, not link

Hi,

is there a way for a html file to indicate how whether
the html file to be displayed in a new window or not.
I know that we can use base target to do that for a link,
but is it possible to do it directly in the linked file?
I'm looking for a html solution, not a script solution,
if possible. So, basically, when the file is displayed,
the browser will be hinted to display the file in a new
window or not (provided it does not override the user's
own browser preferences).

thanks.

James.

No. By the time it is loaded, it is already too late.
