Boolean Data Column Check Box

I am using a DataColumn with the Boolean data type. This produces a
check box in the DataGrid displayed on the screen. The problem is,
when I try to uncheck the box, it goes to a greyed out state and it
takes one more press to get it to uncheck. Is there any way to bypass
this intermediate check state?
