"Botlist is a service that gives you access to user submitted articles
and popular ad listings."

This is a jruby and java based web application. Source released.
Might be one of the few web apps that uses a jvm language that
includes more than 100 lines of code. The project itself can be used
as a bookmarking website, simple bug/issue tracker, might work for a
college project or something similar. Drop the war file into the
Tomcat webapps directory and you are off.

You can find out more from the readme and source link. There are
still some code cleanups, setup cleanups that might make it
unrunnable. If you actually download it and try to run it, you might
to email for an updated schema.
