    On my Chrome I can use the side menu.

    It works perfectly in my Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m on Windows 7
    Professional Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1). Perhaps you
    have Javascript turned off in your Chrome browser.
