I have written a program (AutoAbacus) that I have been providing as an
equation solver and am now considering marketing as a business rules
engine library instead. I'm looking for feedback on whether this is a
good idea, or whether it would be wasted effort, or somewhere in
between
You can find the program as an applet at:
http://www.singularsys.com/autoabacus
One of my customers has integrated the source code into a business
application and recommended marketing it as a business rules engine
instead. Hence my interest in this opportunity.
Are any of you familiar with business rules software? What
modifications/addition would be required for a successful product?
Thanks,
Nathan
