Call method from FormView_Inserting method

Hello,

I sent this out before, but didn't receive any replies. I was also having
problems with my reader. My question is how do you call

protected void fvTravelTrack_ItemInserting_Validate(object sender,
FormViewInsertEventArgs e)

from

protected void fvTravelTrack_ItemInserting(object sender,
FormViewInsertEventArgs e)
