Can a dll query it's own name?

    Is it possible for a dll to query it's won name on startup? For
    instance I am building a simple VST audio plugin and I would like the
    plugin to return the name and path of itself at startup. Is this
    possible?

    Yes, but not in standard C++ language. Please ask about dlls in the
    newsgroup dedicated to your OS, they are OS-specific and as such are
    off-topic here.

    "dll" is not a C++ *language* concept, so your query is off-topic here;
    try a MS Windows forum. See eg.:
