Cant run aspx locally

I cant seem to run my aspx locally.
I can run it through visual studios 2008, but when I have it in my iis (
local host )...i get an error trying to pull up the default.aspx.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I found somone locally to help me out...
for those interested ...
( i didnt really understand all that the person was trying on and off to get
this working )...
but the person did go into

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

and ran
aspnet_regiis.exe

Said something about vista security

I wish the error messages were less cryptic.
