After creating a website in VS.Net 2005 (IIS 5.1)
I can't see any of my website virtual directory in IIS
After doing some search i camr across the info below -link-
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/k6h9cz8h.aspx

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>aspnet_regiis /s
W3SVC/1/ROOT/DAL
I tried using the Registration tool but getting error "Installation stopped
because the specified path is invlaid"
DAL is the name of my Website on VS.Net 2005
Any ideas

Whn you create a website, using the "out of the box" defaults, it creates it
to the local file system, not IIS. There are two options now.

1. Create another website but flip to HTTP and specify your local host
2. Find the directory, go into IIS Manager and create virtual directory as
application
3. Choose File >> Open Website and then IIS and you will find your project
