CDONTS email time stamp

Simon Wigzell

My customers webpage sends emails to everyone in the members database using
CDONTS. The customer is on the west coast, the server is on the east coast.
The email has Eastern time on it, 3 hours ahead of Pacific time. Is there
any way to set the sent time that goes out with an email??? Thanks!

Most RFC822 email has a GMT time offset, east coast is current 5 hours less
than GMT.

You should see this in the raw email file:
Date: Sat, 27 Dec 2003 13:04:17 -0500

Most email readers/programs use this to adjust the date and time to the
USER'S local date/time.
