In any kind of communication and language, even in computer
programming. We can see a difference between total spaghetti and
celtic knot work. But it is easy to confuse the two, because sometimes
a ball of spaghetti still makes sense and sometimes celtic knot work is
total nonsense. I don't look at religion as spaghetti, and I don't
look at my own writting as spaghetti. The philosophers, thinkers, and
intellectuals who create beautiful Celtic Knots have a way of seducing
everyone into believing them because of the beauty in their language.
When archaic writing, common language, and crazy talk usually gets
ignored and flamed even outside of usenet. But Carl Jung wrote that
even crazy talk can contain messages which are important and relavent,
and we all need to be sensitive to the fact that people like me can't
express language as beautiful and as complex.
But if you look at physics like String Theory, you can tell that even
though it is a beautiful piece of knot work, it is only expressing
theorys in physics which are already understood. So it just shows that
over complicated, exagerated, and prolonged conversation isn't always
the ideal way to communicate.
Wikipedia is a great search engine because it is written in every day
language, and you can read about subjects like mathematics and
understand them without untying any complicated knots. That's the way
my mathematics professor is at College. She facillitates my
understanding of the complex texbooks which are only covering simple
introductory calculus.
And I want to encourage all of you to work on your knot work, and to
stop exagerating when you communicate. And to understand that there is
a time and a place for brevity, and a time for lecturing.
Thoughts to think about!
