change fonts in input fields

    Is it possible to change the font in an input type=text and a textarea

    If you're using styles, then yes.

    In your stylesheet (or inside a <style> block in the HTML header):
    ..mytextinput { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }

    And as for the elements themselves:
    <input type="text" class="mytextinput" ...>
    <textarea class="mytextinput" ...></textarea>
