closing Excel when using COM Interop

    excel object not getting killed even after calling
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObjec. Is there any
    workaround

  2. You must explicitly destroy all objects related to Excel, as in this example:
    http://SteveOrr.net/articles/ExcelExport.aspx

    The above link also shows better ways of dealing with Excel files from
    ASP.NET since COM interop is not recommended.
