Code to retrieve data from the DataGrid cell in vb.net

I am trying to find the code that would let me retrieve data from the
DataGrid cell before its changed. The cell that I am trying to retrieve data
out of changes into a dropdown menu once the edit button is clicked on. The
entire DataGrid is working just fine, I just need the value that is
associated to that cell before its changed.
