There's already the beginnings of a MediaWiki-based Perl manual at Wikibooks.
Since there's not enough people already looking at *that* (which has far more
visibility than yours), what makes you think you'll get enough resources
diverted from that project to your project for yours to have any hope?
Really... what scratch are you trying to itch here?
