Color in a Dropdown List

Discussion in 'HTML' started by Dennis M. Marks, Nov 28, 2003.

  1. I have tried using CSS to alter the font and background colors of a
Dropdown List and have only be able to change the color and background
of the selected item when the menu is closed. When the menu drops down
there is only a grey background and black letters. I have used CSS on
the SELECT statement with the above effect. Nothing happens when I used
    it on the OPTION statement.

Is there any way to have more than one color in a single line of the
menu? Is there a way to color different lines different colors?
