COMException on a Web Service

Dear all,

I am trying to call SAPI methods (which works fine in case of a client
application), but calling .Speak the following exception is thrown:

Additional information: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server
was unable to process request. --->
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005):

What can cause such an exception?
