I have a MacPerl script running under System 7.5 that uses CommConnect
to dial another machine and deliver plain text.
I am now looking to run this on my iBook running OS X.
I imagine that CommConnect was a MacPerl-only construct that did the
job of a standard Perl module.
Can anyone point me to the equivalent in the OS X/BSD world?
