Continuous data flow on COM port

Hi everybody,
I'd like to know if is it possible to read a continuous data flow sent
to a port COM. I'm able to read it at each x seconds, but is there any
way to read it continually?

Just read from the stream. If there's no data available, the read will
block; it'll return as soon as there's data.
