    Hi,

I have a cookie with expiry set to date +2000.

Why then, does it occationally die after 2 weeks?

    Hundreds of possibilities. Among them:
    • Date +2000 is ambiguous
    • Cookies can be overwritten by another page
    • Cookies can be deleted from the file system
    • Domains must match. These do not share cookies:

    http://myserver.mycompany.com/myapp/
    http://myserver/myapp/
