CSS enabled

  1. How can you tell whether or not styles are enabled? Do you try to set a
    style and then test for it?

    No. That won't tell you anything. Disabling stylesheets won't remove any
    of the interfaces (it certainly doesn't with Opera), it just means that
    using them will have no immediate visible effect until CSS is re-enabled.
