Custom Control : One custom property to array of controls

Within the designer I would like my custom control to be able to reference
any number (1-n) of page panels. I know how to get a dropdown list of panels
on the page and assign its name to a single property within the control but
what if I want the developer to be able to choose more than one?

What sort of thing do I need? Any tips?
