CustomValidator, arguments.isvalid

Hi.

When creating a custom validator, are the lines of code
"arguments.IsValid = false" and "return false" different things on the
client code? Or is "arguments.Isvalid = false" equivalent to "return
false"?

Hi,

arguments isValid is the one that determines the outcome of the validation.
The other would be just return value of the called function which, IIRC, in
case if customvalidator is ignored
