I'd like to know how to add a text box in the datagrid footer at runtime. Thanks.

In the ItemCreated Event you can do it like this :

if(e.Item.ItemType == ListItemType.Footer)
{
e.Item.Cell[0].Controls.Add(new TextBox())
}
