DataGrid handling completely different vb.net/asp.net

I found that in VS 2003, that DataGrid handling is completely different in
VB.Net than in ASP.Net.

For example, there is no DataBinding() in VB.Net and no Items collection and
no Dataset.Tables(0).rows.count.

Is there a place that compares the handling of the DataGrids?
