datagrid_ItemDataBound question

Hey all,

how do i get to the fields of the datarow of the datasource thats about to
be bound to the datagrid row?

e.item.cells(2).text = ??? datarow.field.value

hope this makes sense,

Short answer is that it depends what you are binding to. For a
dataset/table/view you'd do:

((DataRowView)e.Item.DataItem)["yourColumn"]

For a datareader it'd be:

((System.Data.Common.DbDataRecord)e.Item.DataItem)["yourColumn"]
