Datalist/grid with radio buttons?

I am looking to use a datalist to show a selection of
images to choose from. The user can only choose one, so I
wanted to have a radio button in a template so the user
could only choose one. The problem is that when I set the
group in the templated radio button control, asp.net
changes the group name for each item.

How can I have my radio buttons behave correctly in the
datalist/grid. (I prefer list.)
