Default Session expiration?

Different Web hosts often set it differently but yes 20 minutes is
typical.

Changing the session timeout to be 3x as long (assuming your Web host
allows an increase of this much) means that session variables will
persist longer, and unless one has a high traffic site that may not be a
problem. You could always lower it in the future. Perhaps have your
home page or login page set the session timeout. To set it to 60
minutes instead of the standard 20 minutes:

Session.Timeout = 60
